Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the one thing that will set you free. Unknown
As 2021 comes to an end, I want to wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. This is the last newsletter of the year. It will return in January 2022.
As a thank you to all my loyal readers, I’ve put together all the content I published over the past year and defined them by theme, the best and most popular of the curated links I recommended, and all the books I found valuable and insightful.
Here are the topics covered this year and one from last year that needs to be included. I’ll start with the theme from 2020 because it’s the foundation for all the others. The rest of the 2021 topics include researching your audience, validating and testing a business idea, designing your business strategy, and lastly, how to get real freedom.
Topics:
Starting and growing a small, resilient, and powerful business.
The theme of these five articles is about starting your own venture.

Insightful Books
You will become what you think about most. It makes no difference whether we believe it or not. The brain simply believes what you tell it most. And what you tell it about you, it will create, it has no choice. Shad Helmstetter
This year I’ve concentrated on reading and learning about the power of the mind and its contribution to creating success. I find that working on thoughts, beliefs, positive thinking, and the words we tell ourselves are the most important and powerful things we can do.
They may even be more beneficial than all the books on marketing techniques, sales, content creation, SEO, etc. Why, because while those books help you discover new tools that give you a formula for actions, those actions may work for a while. They don’t change your thinking or your beliefs for long-term results.
Here is my list of the best books I read this year. I have found that their impact has been far-reaching. Read them and be ready to do the work and look at how you think, what you believe, and how you talk to yourself.
- The Power of Your Subconscious Mind Joseph Murphy
- As a Man Thinketh James Allen
- What to Say When You Talk to Yourself Shad Helmstetter
- The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity Catherine Ponder
- The Power is Within You Louise Hay
- Power of Positive Thinking Norman Vincent Peale
- The Science of Getting Rich Wallace D. Wattles
- The Complete Works of Florence Scovel Shinn (including The Game of Life and How to Play It, Your Word is Your Ward, The Secret Door to Success, The Power of the Spoken Word)
I hope you find inspiration here to get started on your own business journey.
See you next year.
